I have worked as the corporate partnerships manager at my AFK (formerly Action For Kids) for over 11 years. I manage their external partnerships and raise funds to provide vital specialist mobility equipment for disabled children and young people all around the UK. The charity also provides education and employability training and support for the young disabled people in London and as well as raising funds for these programmes I work with employers to encourage and broker work placements and paid roles. Outside of work I volunteer with the learning and leisure team at Mencap and I'm training hard for a charity 24 hour non-stop fitness challenge in May.
