I support not-for-profit organisations- from local community groups to national charities- by undertaking research and evaluation that creates insight, supports strategic planning and demonstrates impact.

My greatest satisfaction is enabling people to turn good intentions into positive outcomes.  I've worked in policy development, and also managed front-line services in the fields of community development, youth social action, and support services for older and disabled people.

Building the bridge between good theory and effective practice can be a huge challenge- but one I believe can be overcome by finding creative solutions that imagine what might be possible whilst remaining rooted in sound evidence.
