I've recently been appointed as Chair of Trustees to our teeny, youth oriented charity, and have been told by my trustees I'm doing a great job (lovely to hear that). I've always been interested in charity initiatives, particularly in the youth sector, but up to now have always worked in the private, or third, sectors. I'm currently looking at support roles in the charity sector to get an idea of charity structure from the inside that I can take to my trustees.

I'm interested in charity governance, what the Charity Commission want from charity organisations, fundraising ideas and (my most pressing challenge), how to attract new volunteer trustees.

I'm hoping this forum will supply everything I need, or at least a path to that.
