I've worked in charities for more than 20 years and been a volunteer in several others. I'm currenly a volunteer/trustee for a local industrial heritage site and working on museum accreditation and governance review for them.

I was CEO of another charity (in the membership sector) for 7 1/2 years until I took a break from full-time work in July 2024.

Currently building a portfolio career that will likely include some trusteeships, some consulting and anything else that takes my fancy! Recently completed a course on board evaluation which is a really fascinating area and something that I think charities and membership bodies could benefit more from.
