I started my carrier as a secondary school teacher before joining development work of which I have been for the last 15 years. My development work started with Irish Embassy in Dar Es Salaam, where I served as Education Programme Executive with Irish development arm (Development Cooperation Ireland) to oversee Irish Embassy education supported work across the country. Prior to that I served as National Programme Coordinator with Forum For African Women Educationalists (FAWE); before joining Action Aid Tanzania where I served at different capacities; Programme Officer, Programme Coordinator and Fundraising Manager. I then served as Fundraising and Resource Acquisition lead with BRAC International Tanzania to oversee and manage Fundraising functions.

Currently I am serving as Resource Mobilisation Specialist with Tanzania Education Network/Mtamdao wa Elimu Tanzania (TENMET).

I hold Bachelor Degree in Education and also trained in Social Accountability Monitoring in Rhodes University, SA where I am also an Alumni. I have a broad range of knowledge in Strategic Planning Review, Leadership, Team Development, Monitoring and Evaluation, Institutional Capacity Building and Fundraising.
