We lost our Facebook page 6 months ago when it was mysteriously unpublished by FB citing "impersonation" as the reason.  We followed the appeal process but never heard anything back and our page disappeared entirely.  Worse still we managed to find an FB page that was impersonating us!! It  was set up as a personal page with all our info and logo and posts copied then lots of fake posts added to it including donation requests.  It hasn't been used for over 7 years but is still up there.  

I have been trying unsuccessfully for months to get it taken down. The reporting facility is an automated processes manned by a computer so you can't explain anything just choose words from a drop down list that best fit, and every time I report it I get a message back within hours saying this does not breach our community standards!   I cannot report it for impersonation without adding  our own  facebook link to the report and of course we haven't got one anymore.  

I have tried emailing FB addresses I found on blogs and even written by letter to the headquarters in America but nothing gets a response.  Ads manager site said they couldn't help.  Have appealed to the oversight board but they only choose a handful of appeals out of the thousands they receive every month!!  Its very frustrating as we used Facebook a lot and will have to create a new page now from scratch but run the risk of it being taken down every time the robot discovers the fake site.
